SECURE Document, Data &
Product destruction
'trust' - (noun) reliance: confidence in and
reliance on good qualities, especially fairness, truth, honor, or
ability. - http://encarta.msn.com
New laws, confidentiality, employment tribunals,
privileged information, awareness of risk management and accountability,
and the ever increasing risk of ID theft; all
these and more are huge concerns requiring secure solutions.
More and more businesses choose Hannay's
secure collection and guaranteed destruction of confidential papers,
highly sensitive data and IT equipment.
We have earned this trust over many years and now our
Security Destruction Service comes with the highest and rarest of
recommendations: HM GOVERNMENT APPROVAL.
We have the trust of many offices and large institutions including
Government Departments, Financial Institutions, Hospitals and Local
Authorities.
Our specialist
team of professionals can help identify the most secure and cost-effective
solution including office confidential bins, archive document storage
boxes and external security containers for larger contracts
or security sacks for smaller consignments.
All Hannay personnel involved in handling security waste are officially
vetted to BS 7858 in accordance with ISO 9001/2000 as well as the
stringent requirements of Government Approval.
We collect confidential waste at source on both a scheduled or ad-hoc
basis and available inside or outside office hours to minimise disruption
to staff. We also provide a fully trackable path of destruction
using our secure vehicles which are alarmed and fitted with immobilisers
and constantly monitored through our GPS Tracker Systems.
Once collected, materials are delivered to our secure Government
Approved facilities for same-day guaranteed destruction. All materials
are destroyed in accordance with the Data
Protection Act. - Click here to

For ultimate peace of mind, following destruction, all confidential
papers are pulped and recycled, ensuring total destruction and environmental
responsibility.
We are members of the UK's leading Security Trade Associations
(BSIA, IPSA) and adhere to their official code of practice.
Our service is easier and more cost-effective than in-house or on-site
shredding. Health and Safety issues are a major concern as well
as legislation governing dust & noise emissions and operator
training records, but there are also security issues inevitably
attached to whom should have access to confidential information
such as payroll, employee records and sensitive company information.
Other operational problems relate to shredded paper being an increased
fire risk and to finding a contractor to uplift bulky sacks of mixed
shredded paper.
After adding up the costs of labour and insurance, most customers
find that it just isn't worth the worry and the expense, they use
us instead.
Among the items we collect and destroy are confidential waste documents
including files and ledgers, data and other 'must destroy'
items including computer hardware and disks, CCTV and audio tapes,
microfiche, magnetic media, CDs, credit cards, security print reel
ends, plastics, electronics, counterfeit items/garments, proprietary
and branded goods.
